From international runways to real estate and an upcoming Miss Universe Argentina journey, the 24-year-old model and entrepreneur stepped into the Venice spotlight in sparkling silver and diamonds.

VENICE, ITALY. Fashion, cinema and international glamour came together as Azul Coral arrived on the red carpet of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival for Kvinde Ukendt (Woman Unknown). Dressed in a striking silver gown illuminated by the festival lights and finished with diamond jewellery, Coral delivered a polished red-carpet moment at the Lido, where filmmakers, actors, international media and guests gathered for one of the festival’s most closely watched competition premieres.
The film at the centre of the evening proved to be much more than another Venice premiere. Directed by May el-Toukhy, Woman Unknown is an ambitious postwar drama centred on Marie, played by Mathilde Arcel, a young Danish nanny and housemaid whose impending marriage to a wealthy widower appears to offer her security, status and a completely different future. But Marie is carrying a secret from the Second World War: she had an intimate relationship with a German soldier during the occupation. In the unstable aftermath of liberation, when social judgement can become as powerful as formal justice, her past threatens everything she has built. Through Marie’s experience, the film examines shame, class, desire, survival and the historical punishment of women accused of fraternising with occupying forces.
The story resonated powerfully in Venice. Woman Unknown competed against 20 other films in the main Venezia 83 section and ultimately received the festival’s greatest prize, the Golden Lion for Best Film. Lead actress Mathilde Arcel was separately honoured with the Coppa Volpi for Best Actress, giving May el-Toukhy’s film two of the festival’s most important awards. Reuters described the victory as a notable double triumph for the Danish postwar drama.

Coral’s presence at the premiere also reflected an international story of her own. Her career began in Argentina when she entered modelling at 15. Two years later, at 17, she made her international debut in Milan, establishing herself in the European fashion environment at an age when most are only beginning to consider their professional future. Her work would go on to include a Sephora campaign and walking for Fendi in Rome, while her career expanded across Europe and into Dubai and Asia. Those years exposed Coral not only to fashion but to different cultures, markets and professional environments, developing an independence that would eventually influence the second half of her career.
Rather than relying solely on modelling, Coral began building another professional identity around investment and property. Her interest in real estate developed from investing into entrepreneurship, leading to the creation of Azur Propiedades. The move marked an important evolution for Coral: fashion gave her international visibility and experience, while business gave her an opportunity to create and develop something independently.
Now, at 24, another transformation is approaching. Coral is preparing to compete in Miss Universe Argentina next year, returning to the country where she first entered fashion as a teenager. This time she arrives with years of international modelling, business experience and entrepreneurship behind her.
Venice offered a fitting preview of that next chapter. Under the flashes of the red carpet, dressed in silver and diamonds at the premiere of the eventual Golden Lion winner, Azul Coral appeared not simply as a model returning to the spotlight, but as a young entrepreneur whose career continues to move between fashion, business and increasingly international stages.
