Royal Gentlemen Gala Dinner & Congress Awards | La Dolce Vita | Venice, 11 September 2026 Venice, Italy - 11 September 2026. Against the cinematic backdrop of the Venice International Film Festival, Thomas Misse's Royal Gentlemen Club will host an intimate Black Tie Gala Dinner & Awards at Ca' Sagredo Hotel, with the Congress Awards founded by Anna Stukkert forming a distinguished part of the evening. The 2026 edition embraces the theme La Dolce Vita, not as a nostalgic slogan, but as a contemporary interpretation of Italian elegance: beautiful surroundings, meaningful encounters, discretion and the pleasure of time well spent. The setting could hardly be more fitting. Ca' Sagredo is a historic 14th-century Venetian palazzo overlooking the Grand Canal, a place where art, architecture and centuries of Venetian society create an atmosphere that cannot be reproduced in a conventional ballroom. The gala arrives during the closing days of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, taking place from 2 to 12 September 2026. Founded in 1932, Venice is the world's oldest film festival and one of the defining annual meeting points for international cinema. During festival days, the Lido and the city draw actors, directors, producers, studio representatives, critics, photographers, television crews and international press, while premieres and red carpets are accompanied by private dinners, brand presentations and cultural gatherings across Venice. Within that extraordinary week, Royal Gentlemen offers a deliberately more intimate proposition. Its tradition is built around carefully composed Black Tie evenings in exceptional settings, where the guest list, conversation and shared experience matter more than scale.
A central moment will be the Congress Awards ceremony. Among this year's laureates is Eric Adams, the 110th Mayor of New York City, who served from 2022 to 2025, and previously served as Brooklyn Borough President and a New York State Senator. Adams is expected in Venice to receive a Congress Awards distinction during the gala.
The international guest circle will also include Alisa Roever, founder of Angels Helpers Foundation. Her presence brings a philanthropic dimension to an evening conceived not simply as a social gathering, but as a platform where international relationships, cultural exchange and socially meaningful initiatives can meet. Alisa Roever is a New York-based philanthropist, entrepreneur, and founder of Angels Helpers, whose journey from Siberia to the international stage has evolved into a broader mission of social impact. After moving to New York City at the age of 20, she built a career spanning modeling, health and wellness before becoming increasingly active within the city’s philanthropic, business, and civic circles. Roever has engaged with prominent figures in New York public life and served as a volunteer for Eric Adams during his tenure as Mayor of New York City. Today, she channels those relationships across civic leadership, business, culture, and philanthropy into the work of Angels Helpers, creating access to education, the arts, professional mentorship, and new opportunities for talented young people. At the heart of Roever’s philosophy is a simple principle: talent should never be limited by a family’s financial circumstances, and influence has its greatest value when it is used to open doors for the next generation.
Jewellery will become part of the visual language of the night through Oliver Weber Collection, the Official Jewellery Partner. The Austrian brand will present a special showcase of its new Dolce Vita Collection, inspired by Venice itself: reflections on water, soft light, refined architecture, the theatricality of Carnival and the glamour associated with the Film Festival red carpet. New Swarovski® crystal colours, elegant forms and the brand's distinctive handmade touch translate those references into jewellery.
For one September evening, Ca' Sagredo will bring these worlds together: cinema, international society, philanthropy, design and the enduring Italian art of living beautifully.
Venice does not announce its guest list. It simply closes the door behind it.
